If one day
You stumble upon these lines
And they taste sour
Bitter like a medicine
Welcome to The Parking
The only place I could peacefully
Lay down my heart
Leave it here unchained
To face the wilding world

If one day
You stumble upon these lines
And they taste sour
Bitter like a medicine
Welcome to The Parking
The only place I could peacefully
Lay down my heart
Leave it here unchained
To face the wilding world
To love yourself so dearly and tenderly
Must be a script written throughout your life
For a night like tonight
For a day like today
When you are the only one
Left standing with you
When you are the only one
Sitting beside yourself
To love yourself so dearly and tenderly
Let it be the light that pierce through your night
When the evening shadows are all you see
And their silence is all you hear
Find it in the depth of your despair
To be kind and all loving
With the love that has carried you through
Through the ragging years
To love yourself so dearly and tenderly
Let it be the embrace that carries you through.
First it was peace in our land
He has no land to call his own, apparently
Then they decided, he needs a government
A government that can take instructions
They decided he is a capitalist, even without capital
They decided he will dance to the judiciary
A judiciary of foreign laws
They decided he will hum to parliament tune
Where someone will sit and talk on his behalf
They decided the executive is his Lord
Hey must get out of the road for the blue lights
They reached deep in their pockets
To form political parties and decorate old ones
For he doesnt understand political party systems
But Johnny come late must vote
He needs a representative
He needs a party
He is a free man
Johny come late must vote
She is a beautiful rose
Made for a summer day
In blissful moments
She blossoms in her grandeur
A ray of sunlight
That pierce through this heart
Leaving awesome trails of glee
She is the King of Light
That shines throughout a summers day
Her beauty and her splendour
Is for joyful moments
Her heart hangs on her sleeve
Nothing breaks it like the end of bliss
The last second of a summers day
Before the winter dawn
She is already folded
She is the King of Light
Made for a summer day
- for Sunshine
It won’t be long
That together again
We shall dance in the rain
I know when you look up
There is no sign of rain
But it’s only a matter of time
Before we wake up again
To timeless moments
Moments are coming
When we shall dance in the rain
This world is a terrible place
A strange place to be lonely
A seemingly familiar unfamiliar place
With de javus imprinted
On the sands of time
Have we been here before?
But this strange place is a nightmarish room
Full of familiar strangers, not knowing
Where they are heading to
When you think you walk with a friend
You find yourself alone
In this terrible place
A strange place to be alone
A silly world fool of people
Don’t let tulips lie to you
Don’t let them tell you of deserts
And dungeon of horrid cold
They are tulips
It takes two lips
To tell a lie
It is strange to sleep in a house
Without a mosquito
No irking cry of an imminent sting
But a blissful silence
It’s a strange morning
When you wake up
With a body without itchy boils
Father where have you been?
Have you been to the mountains
To peek into our future
Or are we fatherless
Father have you slept hungry?
To spare us from a gut wrenching hunger?
Do you worry and wonder
Or are we fatherless
There is a poem
This thing of ours
A caricature of bliss
Livid for a moment
Blossomed for a minute
Alas, it’s a song for a season
Like the summers that’s no more
But a shadow of its glorious past
This thing of our is a shadow of its past
A song that has been sang out of season
When no one is listening and nothing is left
Tell my girls, it’s a Queendom
They are the crown I wear
Though heavily adorned
It weighs me down
It pulls me up
Out of darkness
Into the light
Where all my fears
Are free to leave me alone
It’s dark, too dark to see
The dreadful winter lurking
The clouds above
Heavily dressed with chaos
Yet no sign of rain
When I see the dusty wind blow
And these leaves fly by
I know, you didn’t pray for me
I know why you see darkness
I know why the endless night
You are the moon
The light shinning in the dark
Don’t stop
Shine until dawn
Until the morning sun rise
When the night is dead and buried
Your time is coming
If it never dies
Through the night
Through the dark
When no one is there
And only silence is the shadow
That remains to keep you warm
If even then, in the midst of it all
It’s still beating within your heartbeat
Don’t ask questions
Don’t cry tears for yesterday
It is alive
It never dies
Lufu ndi Lufuno
Ndi mbingano isina tsaleli
Munwe na munwe ndi muselwa
Mufhululu ubvela we la mutavhela
Ahuna tsaleli na lau liada
Mufhululu wa lila sa ndwevha
Avha o swika muhwe asina mona
Lwawe lufuno ndi lwanzhe
Alu thafhi sa kutivha kwa madi
Ndi lufuno funo Alu taluli
Don’t worry much
The carrion is over due
The strong and might withers
In a time or season, It will be time to eat
So sit on the fence
Rock steady and watch time heal
Permanently, the wounds and scars
That have carried you through
Wait for it it’s coming
The platform is close knit
She is laughing with the world
Everyone is wilding
In this lonely pursuit of happiness
She is waiting for her ride
A train to Simon’s town
They crack at her jokes
Not knowing the cracks inside her
At last the giant millipedes
She found her peace in her pieces
Under the train to Simon’s town
The platform is shuttered
She got the last laugh
She won’t be going home
Keep talking
Keep walking
Let your sweat tell a tale
Where you have been
And the tomorrow within you
Don’t stop
Keep walking
And don’t forget
The dangers and snares
Things you saw yesterday
For today is a day brighter
Unlike the others
So keep talking
It’s your tale
Jeep walking
It’s your journey
