Train to Simon’s Town

 The platform is close knit 

She is laughing with the world 

Everyone is wilding  

In this lonely pursuit of happiness

She is waiting  for her ride

A train to Simon’s town

They crack at her jokes

Not knowing the cracks inside her 

At last the giant millipedes 

She found her peace in her pieces 

Under the train to Simon’s town 

The platform is shuttered

She got the last laugh  

She won’t be going home
